As promised a short post on the Darley Irish Oaks which I didn't cover in my last post.
The Irish Oaks is another of Ireland's Classic races and is as such a flat racing event which is run at the Curragh Racecourse. Whilst betting on golf is not as popular as on other sports it does offer some great opportunities for punters willing to try something new. As such I'd like to present the Scottish Open as one golfing event that's coming up which makes for an excellent betting event. Even though the horse racing events become fewer and further apart this time of year there are still a few exciting events and the Coral Eclipse Stakes is amongst them. The Group 1 flat race is renowned as the event of the year where a showdown between the the older (4+ years) take on the younger 3yr old newcomers of the year. Wimbledon Championships (22.06 - 05.07)
The Grand Slam event has been in existence for 130 years now and over the years has showcased the very best tennis players on the pro circuit. The next big event after conclusion of the Champions League and UEFA Cup is without a doubt the FA Cup. On Saturday Chelsea will be playing Everton for the title in the oldest Football Association competition in the world.
